Muth & Cormia Full Family Shoot | Bay Area Family Photography

I feel like I've been away for so long. We took some great trips this summer as a family, which kept me away from shooting, but was great for our family. We introduced Ava to Disneyland!... and lost ourselves in the that land, in a good way :)

 Then Ava and I took 11 days to reconnect with my family in Truro, Massachusetts, one of the most beautiful places in the world, in my opinion. We really enjoyed our month of July and this was just the perfect way to get back in the swing of things for me. 

I met up with my great friend, Jill, and her family (her mom, dad, brother, sister-in-law and nieces) on their land in Gilroy to do a full family shoot with them. Cousin's were visiting from Florida and Grandma & Grandpa were proud to show them off. So we spent the morning on the farm land capturing all of their family. It was awesome. Here are some of my favorite photos from their shoot.

I could take photos of these kids every day. SO photogenic!

And how beautiful are these two sisters?!

We even got to play with the horses and emu down the road :)

 There were few moments when we weren't laughing. 

That was my favorite thing about this shoot.

It was SO fun. 

These families have a great, upbeat energy about them and it's totally contagious!

Thanks for asking me to be there and capture the love! I loved every minute of it! 

Little Miss Z is turning 3! | Los Gatos Children's Photography

This is Zoe. 

She's turning 3 this month, so her mama asked if we could capture her in photos at this stage. 

Such a great idea!

I photographed her last November and it's amazing how she's changed since then. Her little face has stretched out and her hair has grown long, but the essence of who she is is still the same, which I love. 

She's a happy girl, as you can see, with the sweetest little face. 

Happy Birthday, Zoe!

...And I brought Ava on the shoot. I loved watching them run and play together!

Baby Eloise, 10 days old. | Los Gatos Newborn Photography

Right before I headed down to southern California with the fam for our 1st summer vacation I got to pop in to meet sweet Eloise, just 10 days old & nursing like a champ! Isn't she precious?

It was great to visit with them, always such a treat to peer in on a family adjusting to having a new member. It was really relaxing at their house and we took our time. Eloise did great!

Big sister Charlotte played outside with her daddy while we shot. She helped him wash the dog and cooled off under the hose, peering on on us once in a while through the window. 

Then we invited her in to take pictures with her sister. She was darling with her. giving her kisses and smiling at her. It was tough for me to choose which photos to post. There are so many that melt my heart.

Dyer family Shoot | Bay Area Family Photographer

What a gift it was to me to wake up early on the 18th and drive up to Pacifica, CA to meet this family. the views up 280 were so breathtaking I could barely keep my eyes on the road. The sun was slowly rising, making all the mountains golden and the fog was banked in between them. I felt like I could see the foliage on the hills more clearly than I ever had before. It was awesome, in the truest sense of the word.

When I got there, Marybeth met me at Rockaway Beach in Pacifica. It was amazing to breathe in the crisp salty sea air. I was so happy to be there and the whole family came in good spirits :)

This shoot was intended to capture the whole family, all the little branches of it and all of it together. 

We did it!

This is Marybeth and her husband, Steve, who raised their three kids (who are grown now) there in Pacifica.

These are their three children, Amy, Aaron & Julie

Julie is very close to her boyfriend of many years, Bryce. We got them practicing for an engagement shoot ;)

So sweet. (And they thought taking photos was "cheesy"). They were good at it!

This is Aaron & Gaby's family. 

They made 2 beautiful kids, Damian & Ariel

What a great family!

Both Amy & Jay are in the Air Force. 

Jay returned home from a year in Honduras that day!

It was special to see them re-connect.

I love this couple!

 I love this girl, first and foremost, and was thrilled to meet the man she's going to marry!

We had a blast on this shoot! Just a quick one to get them some photos for their Save The Date cards, but full of laughter, silliness and l.o.v.e. 

What I loved about this shoot was that I got to witness how sweet they are together and how fresh the love is between them. It's a special time in life; to meet the one you're going to marry. 

It was a gift to me that they asked me to be a part of preserving it.

Now, we wait for the big day at the courthouse in July! 

You know I'll be there :)

We shot at a spot in Cupertino where they had their first date, the kind of date I love, where you do nothing, but hang out in some unimportant place, and get to know each other... and play in the fountains.

Sweet Eva & her family | Los Gatos Family Photography

What a pleasure it was so spend an hour with this sweet girl! 

This is Eva. 

When I asked her mama to tell me a little about her before our shoot she said something along the lines of: well, she doesn't look at the camera and doesn't like having her photo taken. 

So much for that! 

She was a little pro and we had such a great time!

I loved working with her and her mom and dad. 

Great, beautiful family!
