baby's a' comin'

I love the girlfriends I have made through the mommy's group I belong to...other women, my age, with little toddlers. It's been a great source of support and strength, and I've met some really wonderful Mamas! These two women are already expecting additions to their families and I was invited into their homes to shoot their beautiful bellies. (No photoshopping out stretch marks involved! Their bellies are that perfect!) It was really fun and I'm so grateful.

This is Nikki's belly. There are twin boys in there! She calls them the "Twinkies" and they are coming into the world (and hopefully onto this blog) soon. 

This is Kristin's beautiful belly. There's a little boy in there. She already has a girl, so now life in their house is all balanced out. He's coming really soon too!

For me, there is something SO beautiful about a pregnant woman. It's a powerful reminder that our bodies are not only made for us. It just blows my mind that there, inside the flesh, is another life grown from a single cell. We alone cannot do that. That is God's love.

Nuzzly little Newborns

These two newborns shoots were done back in June, when they were each 6 weeks old! Sweet baby boys. I had to put my favorites on the blog. They are just too sweet not too.

I love shooting newborns and I'm excited to say I have another one to shoot next wednesday!! Congrats to my mom friend, Margo, who gave birth to a healthy baby Valerie. You'll meet her here soon! :)

A biscuit, A basket

My baby girl is always up for a shoot. In some senses she's my biggest supporter...she helps me learn about light. I can't count how many pictures I have of her at this point. I take her into any form of a natural environment any chance I can get and shoot away, while we play, of course! In Truro she was loving getting in this basket, so I brought it outside with her in it one day. Perfectly beautiful. Thank you, Ava.

Mina & Sasha

Going back east I knew I wanted to shoot Mina and her boyfriend, Sasha, and you can see why! How gorgeous are they? So naturally beautiful in such a naturally beautiful place. I couldn't be more inspired! Ahh, I love these pictures...they will definitely be on a website someday :)

And the best part....we had SO MUCH fun....as you can see below :)

Hailey Girl turned 7!

She is officially 7 and growing more beautiful everyday. She loves to be in front of the camera, so asking her to come down to the park with me was no feat. "I'm gonna be famous, Daddy!", she said to Brad when we got home. My favorite shot is the 1st by far...
